Join our team in the following position:

ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE (M/F/X)

Work location: Opatija


Key responsibilities:

  • Entry of incoming invoices (supplier invoices, credit notes, and other incoming documents) into the financial-accounting system, with data accuracy control (amounts, dates, VAT, accounts, cost centers)
  • Timely posting and processing of incoming invoices in accordance with internal procedures and accounting standards
  • Regular reconciliation of balances with suppliers, including communication to resolve discrepancies, claims, or unconfirmed items
  • Monitoring of due obligations and cooperation with the payment department to ensure timely payments
  • Preparation of reports on outstanding liabilities to suppliers and participation in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
  • Preparation of documentation and active cooperation with auditors
  • Archiving incoming invoices and documentation in accordance with legal and internal regulations
  • Participation in process improvements related to posting and control / testing new functionalities within the ERP and DMS systems


Desired candidate profile:

  • Secondary school or university degree in economics
  • Minimum of one year of work experience in similar or related positions
  • Preferably experience in finance/accounting within the tourism or hospitality sector
  • Responsibility, organization, practicality, precision, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Advantage: familiarity with Laserline *GLAS module and/or EBA DMS system
