LIBURNIA’S NEW GROWTH CHAPTER & DIGITAL MARKETING

As our company embarks on a new growth chapter, we need to expand our capabilities in developing and implementing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that drive brand growth, customer engagement, and revenue. Hence, we are seeking a Director of Digital Marketing to join the Group Marketing Department at Liburnia Hotels & Villas. This role involves leading the Digital Marketing team and overseeing all digital marketing activities, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content creation, and online advertising. The Director of Digital Marketing will work closely with the marketing team and other departments to ensure all digital initiatives align with the company’s overall marketing goals and brand identity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s vision and objectives, focusing on brand growth, customer acquisition, and revenue generation.
  • Oversee all search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) efforts to enhance the company’s online visibility and drive organic and paid traffic to the website.
  • Develop and execute a robust social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and customer loyalty across all major social platforms.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content for digital channels, including website, blog, social media, and email campaigns, ensuring consistency with the brand’s voice and messaging.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, content creation, and performance analysis, to maximize open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
  • Plan and manage online advertising campaigns, including display ads, pay-per-click (PPC) ads, and retargeting efforts, to drive traffic and conversions.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing initiatives, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports to senior management with actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, operations, and IT, to ensure alignment and support for digital marketing initiatives.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing to ensure the company remains at the forefront of digital innovation.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing digital marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to enhance digital marketing efforts.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful digital marketing strategies and campaigns.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content management systems (CMS), and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Ability to analyse data, interpret trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize digital marketing performance.
  • Ability to create and oversee the development of engaging content and creative digital marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  •  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas and strategies clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop effective digital marketing plans and address complex challenges.
  •  Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
