NEW GROWTH CHAPTER & DIRECTOR OF GRAPHIC DESIGN

As our company embarks on a new growth chapter, we need to expand our capabilities to create and implement designs that align with the company’s brand identity and strategic goals. Hence, we are seeking a Director of Graphic Design to join the Group Marketing Department at Liburnia Hotels & Villas. Director of Graphic Design will lead the Graphic Design team and oversee all our graphic design activities, ensuring that our visual communication reflects the brand’s ethos, enhances customer engagement and is aligned with our Group Marketing strategic initiatives.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive graphic design strategy that aligns with the company’s marketing objectives and brand vision.
  • Lead the design team in creating innovative and visually striking designs for print, digital, and multimedia platforms, including branding, marketing collateral, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure consistency in visual identity and messaging across all marketing channels, maintaining a strong brand presence in the marketplace.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, operations, and content teams, to understand project requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
  • Oversee the entire design process from conceptualization to final execution, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality design projects.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in graphic design to continuously bring fresh and relevant ideas to the team.
  • Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to the design team to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to support design efforts and ensure quality standards.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of design initiatives and optimize strategies for improved outcomes.


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.

 Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of successful design projects that enhance brand identity and marketing effectiveness.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Expert knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including branding, print, digital assets, and other visual communication materials.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts and feedback effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic design initiatives that align with broader marketing goals.
  • Innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities to create engaging and impactful designs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
