The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing effective email marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement, retention, and revenue. This position involves managing the end-to-end email marketing process, from strategy and content creation to execution and analysis. The Email Marketing Specialist will work closely with the marketing team and other departments to ensure email campaigns align with the company’s overall marketing goals and brand identity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive email marketing strategy that supports the company’s marketing objectives and enhances customer engagement and loyalty.
- Plan, create, and execute email marketing campaigns, including promotional emails, newsletters, transactional emails, and automated email sequences.
- Collaborate with the content team to create compelling and relevant email content that resonates with target audiences and drives conversions.
- Utilize segmentation and personalization techniques to deliver targeted and relevant email content to different customer segments.
- Conduct A/B testing on email campaigns to optimize subject lines, content, design, and send times for improved performance.
- Manage and maintain the email subscriber list, ensuring data accuracy, compliance with privacy regulations, and list growth through various acquisition strategies.
- Implement and manage email automation workflows to nurture leads, welcome new subscribers, and re-engage inactive customers.
- Monitor and analyze email campaign performance using analytics tools, providing regular reports on key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Use data-driven insights to continuously optimize email marketing campaigns for better performance and engagement.
- Ensure all email marketing activities comply with relevant laws and regulations, including GDPR and CAN-SPAM Act.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and IT, to ensure alignment and support for email marketing initiatives.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in email marketing to ensure the company remains at the forefront of digital marketing innovation.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in email marketing, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful email marketing campaigns.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficiency in using email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot) and marketing automation tools.
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills to craft compelling email messages.
- Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, email marketing analytics) to measure and analyze campaign performance.
- Experience with email list segmentation and personalization techniques.
- Understanding of HTML/CSS for email design and familiarity with email design best practices.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills to manage multiple campaigns and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
