What will you do?


The smooth and effective operation of a hotel requires the enthusiasm and diligence of the hotel general manager, as he or she is expected to perform various important functions in order for the hotel to meet up to good standards.

General Manager is very important part of the hotel chain. He connects a different departments and different characters in one unique whole with the common goal to have the clients happy and employees motivated. He/she is coordinating, overseeing, and organizing all the activities involved in the smooth and effective running of a hotel.


Job description:

Manage day to day business of the hotel

Prepares the yearly budget for the hotel and demonstrate a good understanding of budget, forecast, payroll and cost control.

Ensure compliance with LRH policies, standards and procedures by training, supervising, follow-up and hands on management.

Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Manage the recruitment needs ensuring that the staff budget is not exceeded.

Supervise mentoring, training and evaluations of the existing and new employees.

Improve service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance and feedback.

Assists in daily operations, according to business needs.

Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.

Ensure employees are treated fairly and equitably. Strives to improve employee retention.

Responsible for the quality service of the hotel.

Communicates with the guests in order to get the feedback and solve the problems, if any, in quick and efficient manner.

Monitors the hotel efficiency and creates and implements adequate measures to increase the productivity and efficiency of the hotel employees. 


Degree/ diploma in hotel management or a related field

Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position

Competence in managing a team that maintains the highest standards under pressure

Ability to develop and analyses P&L, Beverage Cost statements and relevant reports

Working experience with POS systems

Excellent all round communication skills

Knowledge of MS Excel or a similar software

Ability to take decisions and act to meet financial targets

Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
