Concept description: Join the team of the unique Lido&Angiolina beach bar, restaurant & events venue situated in Kvarner coast. Our goal is to be culturally relevant all-year Beach & Culinary Destination. We are not a party venue; we are Lifestyle Experience concept. You will be managing a team of around 50 team players, with a significant revenue on a prime location!
Manage day to day business including restaurants, bar and beach operations
Demonstrate a good understanding of budget, forecast, payroll and cost control.
Ensure compliance with all food & beverage policies, standards and procedures by training, supervising, follow-up and hands on management.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
Manage the recruitment and selection of suitably qualified and experienced employees ensuring that the staff budget is not exceeded.
Mentor, train and lead new bar staff employees.
Advertise daily, weekly and monthly promotions of the services offered.
Create employee schedules based on expected customer numbers.
Improve service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed.
Assist in daily operations, according to business needs.
Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
Ensure employees are treated fairly and equitably. Strives to improve employee retention.
Perform other tasks and duties delegated by the managing directors.
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position,
Degree/ diploma in hotel management or a related field desirable
Competence in managing a team that maintains the highest standards under pressure,
Ability to develop and analyse P&L, Beverage Cost statements and relevant reports,
Working experience with POS systems
Excellent all round communication skills
Knowledge of MS Excel or a similar software
Ability to take decisions and act to meet financial targets
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Ability to organize and control orders & supplies
Ability to take ownership and responsibility for all areas throughout the business
Ability to take responsibility for day-to-day operations and for delivering its objectives
