Join our team in the position of:

ANIMATION TEAM COORDINATOR (m/f/x)

Work location: Opatija


Main responsibilities:

  • Welcoming animation staff upon arrival at the destination, onboarding them and introducing them to the hotel, workplace, and company standards
  • Training and continuously onboarding animators into animation programs, work methods, rules of conduct, and guest interaction approach
  • Conducting regular hotel inspections and supervising the implementation of animation teams, programs, and standards
  • Identifying and correcting irregularities in operations; reporting to the department manager
  • Actively contributing to the development of animators through daily training and mentoring (especially in communication, openness, and an extroverted approach toward guests)
  • Motivating the team and fostering a positive atmosphere within the animation team
  • Monitoring animators in staff accommodation
  • Resolving any work-related issues or challenges in coordination with the department manager
  • Demonstrating and delivering children’s, sports, and entertainment programs as needed
  • Optimizing and maintaining records of animation storage areas; ensuring cleanliness and organization of storage and workspaces
  • Keeping records related to animators (meals, activity attendance, arrivals/departures from the destination)
  • Organizing and overseeing logistics of props and equipment required for program delivery (props, gear, technical equipment)
  • Designing and implementing activities to increase guest engagement and improve attendance
  • Developing new training materials for animators and delivering training sessions
  • Supporting the creative and strategic development of animation and sports programs across all properties
  • Distributing operational materials, equipment, and technical assets across properties


What we are looking for:

  • University degree (preferred fields: economics, hospitality, kinesiology, pedagogy, psychology, or similar)
  • Experience in tourism animation, preferably in a similar role
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic and flexible schedule depending on active programs
  • Desired traits: strong sense of responsibility, empathy, proactivity, communication skills, resilience to stress, attention to detail, multitasking ability, creativity, and innovation in developing new programs
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and Word; knowledge of presentation tools (e.g. Canva, PowerPoint) is an advantage but not required
  • Valid B category driver’s license
  • English language proficiency at B level
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry standards is an advantage
