Join our team in the position of:

LEGAL ADVISOR FOR EMPLOYMENT LAW (m/f/x)

Work location: Opatija


Main responsibilities:

  • The primary focus of the role is on employment law matters and contracts, with gradual involvement in other legal areas relevant to hotel operations
  • Employment Law (main focus of the role):
    • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, contract amendments, terminations, and warning notices related to breaches of employment obligations
    • Providing legal support on matters related to hiring and termination of employment
    • Preparing amendments to contracts, decisions, resolutions, and other employment-related documentation
    • Participating in the drafting and updating of internal policies and procedures
    • Advising HR and team managers on day-to-day employment law matters
    • Communicating with the Works Council
  • Contract Law and Commercial Agreements:
    • Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts with business partners and suppliers
    • Supporting the analysis of contractual risks and alignment with business objectives
    • Maintaining and managing contract documentation
  • General Legal Support:
    • Ensuring full legal compliance of business operations
    • Providing legal support to internal teams in daily operations
    • Monitoring legislative changes relevant to the business
    • Cooperating with external legal advisors as needed


What we are looking for:

  • University degree in Law
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in legal roles (experience in employment law and hands-on experience in drafting contracts and amendments is an advantage – in-house, law firm, or a combination)
  • Good knowledge of contract law
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 tools
  • Valid Category B driver’s license
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Well-developed analytical skills
  • Practical, business-oriented approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently, with initiative and a proactive mindset
  • Systematic approach to work and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Clear and constructive communication with non-legal stakeholders
