Join our team in the following position:

APPLICATION SUPPORT ASSOCIATE IN ICT (m/f/x)

Work location: Opatija


Key responsibilities:

  • Providing daily application support to users (helpdesk)
  • Monitoring the operation of business applications (PMS, POS, back office, reservation systems, etc.)
  • Diagnosing application issues and forwarding requests to second-level support or external vendors
  • Participating in the implementation of new software solutions and upgrades of existing systems
  • Monitoring application functionality across all business areas and proposing improvements
  • Maintaining and updating user documentation, procedures, and manuals
  • Training and supporting users in working with applications
  • Ensuring continuity of application operation and minimizing disruptions to business processes
  • Collaborating with the internal ICT team and external partners on the development and optimization of application solutions


Requirements:

  • Secondary school, higher professional or university degree in a technical field, such as computer science, electrical engineering, IT, or related areas
  • Experience with hotel information systems, especially the Opera PMS, is a strong advantage
  • Knowledge of hotel business processes is a significant plus
  • Experience in working with business applications, user support, and software implementation
  • Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues
  • Strong communication skills – clear, professional, and patient user interaction
  • Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented
  • Team player with a proactive approach to cross-departmental collaboration
  • Willingness to continuously learn and improve
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Valid category B driver’s license
