Join our team in the following position:

HOTEL SALES MANAGER (m/f/x)

Work location: Opatija


Key responsibilities:

  • Actively participates in creating and implementing the hotel’s sales strategy with the aim of increasing revenue from accommodation, MICE segments (group bookings, events, conferences), and other hotel services
  • Actively identifies and establishes cooperation with new clients (corporate partners, agencies, tour operators, OTA channels) while maintaining existing relationships
  • Prepares and presents offers to clients, conducts negotiations, and concludes contracts in line with the hotel’s business policies
  • Monitors and analyzes the market, competition, and trends in the hospitality industry, and proposes measures to improve sales activities
  • Participates in trade fairs, workshops, and promotional events both domestically and internationally to strengthen the hotel’s visibility
  • Regularly prepares reports on sales activities, achievements, and plans, and reports to the superior
  • Works closely with the front office, marketing, reservations, and F&B departments to ensure top-quality service for clients


Requirements:

  • University or secondary education (preferably in economics, tourism, marketing, or management)
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, with at least 1–2 years in hospitality or tourism
  • Excellent command of English, spoken and written (knowledge of additional languages such as German or Italian is an advantage)
  • Good computer skills (MS Office, CRM tools; knowledge of PMS systems is an advantage)
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a results-oriented mindset
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and work flexible hours
  • Category B driving license, active driver
