Join our team in the position of:

WELLNESS MANAGER (m/f/x)

Work location: Opatija and surrounding area


Main responsibilities:

  • Coordination and supervision of the entire Wellness department (human resources, inventory, fixed assets, consumables, promotional materials, and all other elements necessary for the department’s smooth operation)
  • Liaising with other hotel departments to exchange information regarding guest stays and satisfaction
  • Accurate and timely communication with the Front Office regarding reservation status and all other relevant information related to confirmed or potential guest stays connected to wellness services
  • Ensuring staff productivity within the Wellness department (work schedule planning and monitoring its implementation)
  • Overseeing regular cleaning and maintenance of the Wellness area (pool, saunas, treatment rooms)
  • Designing and planning new treatments and packages, annual calendars, monthly and weekly promotions in cooperation with the Marketing department
  • Maintaining guest records (contact details, preferences, special requests, conditions, and stay history)
  • Ensuring guest safety
  • Monitoring compliance with all standards and procedures
  • Onboarding and training new employees, trainees, and students; mentoring throughout the entire work process
  • Analyzing Wellness department performance


What we are looking for:

  • Secondary school qualification in a medical field (or equivalent supplemented with a wellness-related certification)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the same or similar roles
  • Strong sense of responsibility in task execution
  • Team leadership skills, results-oriented mindset, and productivity management
  • High level of motivation, enthusiasm, and dynamism
  • Accuracy, neatness, agility, and resilience to stress
  • Knowledge and application of professional standards
